Temporary Court Advocate - Night Shift

Temporary Court Advocate position to support the Supervised Released Program during an employee’s leave of absence. The Court Advocate will identify and screen potential program participants at arraignments, liaise with court actors, and present on the court record to judges. The position is temporary to permanent.

Requirements

• Ability to get access to the courts through an Office of Court Administration Secure Pass
• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
• Previous court advocacy experience preferred
• Experience with databases for entering client information
• Knowledge of the structure and procedures of the Criminal Justice System and its legalese required
