Job Description
The Engineering Intern supports the Engineering and Operations teams by assisting with testing, documentation, drawings, engineering changes, and improvement projects. This internship is designed for college students pursuing an engineering-related degree who are seeking hands-on experience in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a closely related engineering or technical discipline
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of NI FlexLogger and/or LabView
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred)
- Strong appreciation and compliance with HS&E policies
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physically able-bodied, capable of manual lifting 45 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination – capable of precision manual work
