Engineering Intern

Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity as the Engineering Intern will participate in rotational development up to point of graduation, having each 6-month term with a different area of Faurecia R&D. The Engineering Intern works on assigned projects, assist manager in areas of design, engineering, drawings, equipment, and/or documentation.

What You Will Do

Learns how to produce/develop designs, assists with alternative design solutions, maintains strong familiarity with specific customer requirements, completes all assignments with the prescribed schedules, propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction, and capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site.

Requirements

• Familiarity with primary manufacturing methods
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Active listening skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple ongoing tasks
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Data entry proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Full Time Student enrolled in an accredited 4 year College or University
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later
• Can work atleast 24 hours during School
• Minimum 2.8 GPA
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field, or similar
