Job Description
The Job Readiness Instructor will teach essential job readiness skills to high school students with visual impairments in a 5-week program. The instructor will develop and teach a curriculum focused on career exploration, resume creation, interview techniques, and soft skills development. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' futures and guide them as they transition into the workforce.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with high school students with visual impairments
- Strong understanding of job readiness concepts, including resume building, interview preparation, career exploration, and soft skills development
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide individualized support for students with varying needs
