Physical Therapy Assistant

Foundation for Blind Children is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to work with preschool and elementary students. The PTA will provide integrated, small group, and 1:1 therapy based on IEP goals and service minutes.

Requirements

• Minimum two years or 2000 hours of experience working with students with severe/profound needs requiring intensive supports
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification with the State of Arizona
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to attain a Clearance Card
• Ability to lift and carry non-ambulatory students up to 50 pounds
