Job Description
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team at Foundation for Blind Children. The role involves adapting and modifying curriculum for students with visual impairments and collaborating with the related service team to create meaningful activities. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) from accredited college or university in Special Education required
- Current Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required
- CPR/First Aid/AED
- Experience with PECS System and Structured Teaching (preferred)
- Experience in teaching a self-contained classroom
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of IEP management systems
- Article 9
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to attain a Clearance Card
