Job Description
Foundation is developing the future of general purpose robotics with the goal to address the labor shortage. We are looking for an Assembly Technician to play a key role in assembling, testing, and finalizing robotic systems in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing, robotics, electromechanical or similar environment
- Comfort working with mechanical tools, hand tools, power screwdrivers, torque wrenches, etc.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, cables, connectors; ability to follow wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset: able to identify defects, verify assembly meets specifications
- Willingness to work multiple shifts and flexible schedule (e.g., evenings, nights, weekends as required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs], work in a shop/manufacturing environment
- Self-starter with a collaborative team attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
