Job Description
We are looking for an electrical engineer intern to join our team at Foundation, a startup developing general purpose robotics. The role involves designing, building, and iterating on custom electronics for a humanoid robotic hand. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of analog circuit fundamentals, power electronics basics, and digital systems, as well as hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout. The team is dynamic and offers a great opportunity for growth and development.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong grasp of analog circuit fundamentals
- Understanding of power electronics basics
- Foundational knowledge of digital systems
- Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout
- Understanding of PCB layout best practices for mixed-signal designs
- Familiarity with rigid-flex or flex PCB design concepts
