The Housekeeping Assistant Manager supports the Assistant Director of Housekeeping in overseeing the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas to exacting standards, leading a team of 65–70 employees.
Requirements
- At least 1 – 2 years of housekeeping or front office experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of luxury standards.
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
- Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera, HotSOS, and Microsoft Office preferred/is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
