Job Description
Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Sommelier to lead our wine program and elevate the guest dining experience. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional product knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for delivering worldāclass hospitality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sommelier experience in a luxury hotel, fineādining, or Michelinālevel restaurant.
- A high level of wine knowledge, including an extensive understanding of wine making process, main wineries and wine regions.
- Certified Sommelier qualification.
- Strong understanding of food-and-wine pairing principles.
- Proficiency in using the Micros Operating System.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
- Inspiring, handsāon leader with strong communication and coaching abilities.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language.
