Job Description
The In Room Dining Manager supports the management team in overseeing aspects of the In Room Dining department and Speyside Cafe, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency of food and beverage service and amenities for the hotel’s guest rooms and suites.
Requirements
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel’s Room Service Department
- Provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
- Monitor phones, orders, deliveries and pickups to ensure guest satisfaction and employee support
- Review and approve any comp or voids to ensure accuracy and ensures all glitches are posted accurately and timely
