Job Description
The Pool Bartender is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of spirits and mixed drinks, as well as methods of preparation. The role requires a highly motivated and service-minded individual with previous experience in a luxury, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
- Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments
- Utilize the hotel’s computer system to ring up sales, print checks, close checks and complete closing readings
- Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks
- Service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area
- Properly and accurately close guest checks
