Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Fourier is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design, analysis, integration, and validation of commercial hydrogen production systems. The role spans mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing disciplines, requiring hands-on expertise and a first-principles understanding of statics, mechanics, and fluid dynamics.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of relevant experience in commercial product design and development
• First-principles understanding of statics, mechanics, materials science, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
• Experience taking mechanical designs from concept through production
• Proven experience in DFM/DFA and packaging electromechanical systems
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and Thermal & Structural FEA tools
• Strong hands-on aptitude and experience with GD&T-compliant drawings
