Freelance Producer/Assignment Editor

Fox News is looking for a Freelance Producer/Assignment Editor to join their assignment desk team in their LA Bureau, responsible for coordinating daily news coverage, handling breaking news, and prioritizing incoming editorial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a local or national newsroom
• Strong logistical and editorial skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize on a daily basis
• Willingness to work a variety of non-traditional shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and overnights
