Job Description
Fox TV Stations is seeking a dynamic News Producer to join their team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, creativity, and experience in producing news content for digital and linear streams. They must be able to investigate and gather ideas for local stories, source video content, and manage editing workflows. The role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a producing role, with line producing experience and proficiency in various software platforms being highly desirable.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a producing role
- Line producing experience is highly desirable
- Experience developing and publishing content, including news, on digital and social platforms
- Proficiency on and quick study on various software platforms
- Originality and creativity in presentation and delivery
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tight deadlines and respond well to direction
- Outstanding news judgment and commitment to factual accuracy
- Must be reliable and willing to work flexible working hours
