Job Description
Relief Technician will fill various production roles, including technical director, audio operator, and floor director, with a focus on live news production and broadcast equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a broadcast technician or control room environment, excellent communication and technical skills, and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in broadcast technician, control room/master control and news environment
- Excellent communication and technical skills
- Ability to work in a 24/7 breaking news environment with varied hours and overtime
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds
- Membership in I.A.T.S.E Local 794 union required
