You have years of experience in journalism and can write and produce several stories efficiently daily, covering news of the day along with original and exclusive news.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study
- 5+ years of experience covering the news and newsroom experience
- Author page with easily accessible bylines
- Strong knowledge of AP style
- A clear and crisp writing style
- A strong network of sources in Washington, DC
- A firm grasp of current events
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to travel and report from the field on short notice
