Senior Editor, Outkick

Outkick Media is looking for an experienced Senior Editor to join its Outkick.com team, responsible for directing editorial coverage, assigning stories, and approving pitches from reporters and editors.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in news, TV, or digital
• Prior management experience for 3 years in a newsroom setting overseeing a team of reporters & editors
• Experience using content management systems
• Knowledge and experience with digital Newsletter
• Strong SEO and social media skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pivot between stories and multi-task
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights
• Prior experience with digital analytics (Chartbeat, Adobe Analytics etc.) to monitor and build traffic
