We are seeking a CNC Operator I to load, unload, and inspect parts during the machining process, ensuring quality and achieving production standards. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working with controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements
- Operates CNC machines with routine supervision
- Maintains dimensional tolerances between ±.0003”-.005” or greater
- Interprets basic dimensions on a print
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc.
- Maintains accurate part counts, fills out Box Tags, and Job/Quantity Tracker
- Reports and asks supervisor/lead for assistance with any machining problems
- Follows documented operator procedures such as inspection check sheets and posted operator notes
- Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures
- Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with direction of supervisor or lead-person
- Produces parts with less than 2% scrap rate on a consistent basis
