Job Description
The Infection Control Nurse evaluates quality of resident care and resident outcomes as they relate to healthcare associated/nosocomial infections. The position is responsible for monitoring health care associated/nosocomial infections, tracking trends, and reporting infection clusters to appropriate agencies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (PA/OH)/Licensed Practical Nurse (OH only) with the State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification recommended
- Certification in Infection Control is desired
