News Producer

Fox TV Stations is looking for a News Producer who has a vision for the newscast and knows how to turn a plan into remarkable television. The successful candidate must think big, communicate effectively, and be a leader in the newsroom.

Requirements

• Select, research, and write stories that are clear, concise, fair, and accurate
• Communicate and coordinate with executive producer, anchors, reporters, and photographers to create memorable, creative television
• Work independently with minimal oversight from management to produce assigned newscast
• Thrive in a fast-paced workplace and stay calm under pressure
• Attend and participate in editorial meetings by bringing story ideas to the table on a daily basis
• Write, edit, and post stories on the station's digital and social platforms
• Write and produce effective teases, headlines, and cold opens
