News Reporter

The News Reporter will attend editorial meetings, contribute story ideas, and write stories for linear and digital programming. They will also help gather content and build the station's reputation in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast journalism or a related field of study is preferred
• 3+ years experience writing and researching news required
• Strong writing skills and great knowledge of current events
• Team player with flexible hours including holidays
• Strong communication skills in both newsroom interaction and story-telling
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
