Per Diem Technician

KTVU FOX 2 is seeking a Per Diem Broadcast Technician to operate in Master Control, Technical Operations Center, and Ingest, with emphasis on switching live sports and ensuring compliance with FCC regulations.

Requirements

• Master Control automation experience with an emphasis on switching live sports
• Live news experience including tuning in live shots via microwave, satellite, and bonded cellular
• Commercial and program ingest and segmentation
• Quality control of on-air signal
• Ability to work under tight timelines and high stress while maintaining an exceptional on-air product
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills
• Computer hardware, software, and networking experience
• Ability to quickly learn new applications and workflows
• Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly in writing and in person
