Production Assistant

The Production Assistant will provide administrative and editorial support to all areas of the newsroom, including managing calendars, schedules, and show activities, and assisting with social media presence. The role requires proficiency in MS Office, basic knowledge of newsroom functions, and familiarity with digital editing platforms. A bachelor's degree in Communications or a related discipline is preferred, and one year of administrative support experience is also preferred.

• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of newsroom functions
• Familiarity with digital editing platforms such as iNews
• Strong social media skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under daily pressure and successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines
