The EHS Technician supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe workplace.
Requirements
- Provide administrative and operational support to the EHS department
- Conduct routine EHS audits and workplace inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Document EHS-related findings, non-conformities, and deficiencies; track and follow up on corrective actions
- Support internal and external audit preparation (e.g., ISO, customer audits), including documentation and coordination
- Maintain and organize EHS records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
- Accurately report workplace incidents by documenting recordable injuries and illnesses on the OSHA 300 Log
- Monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to EHS standards and policies
- Collect, process, and analyze EHS data; prepare reports and track key deadlines and compliance metrics
- Assist in the development and preparation of risk assessments and safety evaluations
