A multi Oscar-winning creative studio is looking for a 3D Animator to work on high-end VFX films. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of performance and acting, and a thorough knowledge of Maya.

Requirements

• Proven understanding of performance and acting
• Proven understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture and form
• Proven understanding of body mechanics and physicality for creature and animal movement
• Thorough knowledge of Maya
• Understanding of rigs and typical rigging set-ups and animation pipelines
• Being open to direction and able to embrace change
• Attention to detail
• Reliable, with good time keeping and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable commitment to creative collaboration within a team and with other departments
• Adaptability and the willingness to learn new processes and technical skills
