Francis Parker School in San Diego, California seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to serve as a Middle School/Upper School Teaching Fellow and Grade 6-12 Teaching Substitute for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for students, assisting with classroom activities, and supporting the supervising teacher with lesson planning and evaluation.

Requirements

• Assist with classroom activities and facilitate individual and small group sessions with students
• Prepare lesson plans, materials, and demonstrations to support instruction
• Tutor and assist students in small groups to help them master assignments and reinforce learning concepts
• Observe students' performance and record relevant data to assess progress
• Supervise students on campus or during educational off-campus activities
• Uphold school rules, STRIVE, and school policies and practices
