Job Description
The Head Pep Squad Coach is responsible for coordinating the Parker sports program, teaching, coaching, and instructing student-athletes while promoting the school's mission and athletic department philosophy.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the sport, including CIF and NFHS rules and regulations, skills, tactics, and techniques
- Effective coaching staff utilization, practice, and game planning
- Ethical and professional conduct, respect, motivation, and inspiration of student-athletes
- Development of team concepts within the school's values-driven framework
- Handling administrative responsibilities, such as disciplinary issues and student-athlete medical and academic eligibility
- Effective communication with athletes, parents, faculty, administrators, and the community
