Job Description
The Sheriff Adult Detention Deputy monitors inmate activities, assists with medical needs, and provides transportation for courts and other detention facilities. Performs law enforcement duties in accordance with the mission, goals, and objectives of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and statutes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) license
- Valid Missouri driver license
- Missouri resident
- Successful completion of corrections certification through detention officer training
