The Department of Machine Tool Technology is researching the development of production systems, machines, and components, as well as their peripheral areas, focusing on problem-solving issues that arise from the increasing demands on productivity, manufacturing precision, flexibility, and energy and resource efficiency in developments in the machine and plant construction sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Automation Engineering, or a comparable field
• Basic knowledge of product development and production technology
• Programming knowledge in Python (or C/C++)
• Basic understanding of software architecture
• Independent and structured working style
• Good German language skills in writing and speaking
