The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a Master's student to develop an interdisciplinary thesis focused on electrical components for electric machines, with a focus on construction support and automated structural mechanical design. The company operates six research centers across Germany and is dedicated to applying research to industry.

Requirements

• Master's students in production engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Interest in electrical drives and their modeling and development.
• Experience with FE-analysis and CAD (ideal), or knowledge of Synera or Ansys Mechanical.
• Willingness to independently tackle a scientific question.
• Availability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
