The Fraunhofer Institute for Research and Development of Battery Cell FFB is seeking a student for a final thesis project on supplier management and sustainability in battery production. The student will help evaluate innovative circular processes and advance the energy transition sustainably.
Requirements
- Compiling an overview of common methods and certifications for evaluating the sustainability of suppliers
- Highlighting the differences between the concepts and their respective advantages and disadvantages
- Analyzing the regulatory requirements of various political levels for suppliers in the battery industry
- Performing a gap analysis of the quality management requirements, already implemented systems, and regulatory obligations
- Developing the framework conditions of the FFB's research fabrication (FoFeBat research project)
- Supporting the development of quality management in battery production
- Developing recommendations for action for the supplier management of FFB
