We are looking for a Bachelor or Master thesis student in the field of Electrochemical processes at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB in Straubing, Germany. The student will work on sustainable processes, technologies, and products for a healthy and green future, focusing on electrocatalytic power-to-X-to-Y processes, CO2 conversion, and electrochemical upgrading of bio-based compounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, or a related field
• Initial experience or knowledge in electrochemistry, organic/inorganic synthesis, material characterization, and analytics
• Ability to work independently and scientifically, and respond precisely to changing requirements
