The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is seeking a student to join their team and conduct research on the recovery of divalent materials from wastewater generated by commercial battery recycling processes. This research focuses on novel electrochemical ion pumping methods and aims to obtain high-purity materials. The project is part of a broader initiative to recycle spent batteries and treat wastewater, with an automated test bench facilitating process development.
Requirements
- Enrolled student specializing in chemistry, materials science, production engineering or a comparable degree programme
- Extensive practical experience with laboratory work
- Ideally previous knowledge in the field of electrochemical or battery research
- Personal motivation, strong communication skills, reliability, ability to work in a team and an independent way of working
- Very good knowledge of English
