FINAL THESIS/STUDENT ASSISTANT: ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE MATERIALS

The Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV is looking for a student assistant to support the department 'additive manufacturing' in the realization of complex and filigree structures for high-performance materials. The position involves independent work on an additive manufacturing machine, support in test plan development, and characterization of component properties.

Requirements

• Study in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or comparable
• Enthusiasm and interest in additive manufacturing technologies
• First experience in additive manufacturing ('3D printing') and metallography is advantageous
