The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg is looking for a student assistant to work on a master thesis on the topic 'Potential analysis of methods of artificial intelligence in the distribution network'. The successful candidate will develop a GNN-based tool for determining optimal transformer locations and integrate the results into two of our tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Economics, or Business Engineering
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Git and test automation
• Familiarity with electrical engineering fundamentals
