The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a master's student to work on a thesis project on AI-assisted data collection for urban/industrial bioeconomy. The project involves presenting the current state of available data for bioeconomy indicators, selecting and training an AI model, and developing a dashboard for visualization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bioeconomy, environmental engineering, or related fields, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Studying bioeconomy, environmental engineering, environmental informatics, or a related subject
• Excellent study results and a high degree of self-initiative
• Sound knowledge in the field of sustainability, material cycles, renewable raw materials, and data preparation
• Prior knowledge in bioeconomy and AI models, as well as interest in data visualization and databases
