We are looking for a Master's student to work on a thesis project developing a Large Language Model-based application for parameter optimization in a research environment. The project involves research, modeling, and implementation of a prototype, as well as testing and evaluation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
- Interest in Large Language Models and data-driven process and material development
- Good programming knowledge in Python and experience with data processing, software prototyping, and APIs
- Basic understanding of statistics/DoE/optimization and experience with laboratory or process data
- Very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills in word and writing
