Job Description
The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin is seeking a Student Assistant to support research in the field of Joining and Coating Technology. The position involves familiarization with welding processes, development of AI models, and support with scientific work.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering/natural sciences (or similar)
- Interest in numerical simulation (FEM), data science
- Interest in additive manufacturing
- Programming experience in Matlab/Python
- Optional: Practical experience in the use of measurement technology/production machines
- Independent and proactive approach to work
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
