The Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF is looking for a student assistant to support in the area "Imaging and Sensorics". The successful candidate will work on the realization of a demonstrator for swarm-based optics manufacturing and have the possibility to work on the topic in the context of a thesis.

Requirements

• Studies in photonics, physics, engineering, or a comparable course of study
• Basic knowledge of working in laboratories, with scientific instruments, as well as digital data processing.
• Motivation for familiarization in the control of modern technologies, procedures, and processes in the field of optical sensorics
• Independent and systematic working style, creative and analytical thinking, as well as willingness to work, team orientation, and communication skills.
