The position is for a study or graduation project on carbon markets and CO2 pricing, examining the economic, financial, and social effects of CO2 pricing and carbon markets, and drawing implications for policy and finance. The project will analyze the effects of rising CO2 prices on investment decisions, company valuations, and transformation paths of emission-intensive sectors.
Requirements
- Valid enrollment at a German university or university of applied sciences
- Very good study of economics, business, finance, mechanical engineering, or a comparable course of study
- Interest in climate policy, sustainable finance, and transformation processes
- Analytical strength, and ideally experience with quantitative methods (e.g. econometrics) and statistics software
- Independent, structured, and scientifically sound working method
