Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to join the Barry laboratory in the Translational Research Program. The successful candidate will spearhead a project to define the molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating natural killer and dendritic cell abundance in the tumor microenvironment. The Barry lab focuses on understanding how the immune system responds to cancer and can be manipulated to treat cancer.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in immunology or tumor immunology
• Strong publication record
• Eligibility and desire to apply for future fellowships
• Experience in essential techniques to characterize and profile immune cells
• Live cell imaging, intravital 2-photon imaging, human immunology, and experience working in murine tumor or metastasis models
