The position requires a JD degree, membership in good standing in a state Bar, and a minimum of eight years of legal experience. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Membership in good standing in a state Bar
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience
- Transactional experience in securitization, structured finance or capital markets with a major law firm or corporate law department
- In-depth knowledge of federal securities laws and securities market practices
- Ability to lead and manage transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction/disclosure documents for complex residential (single-family and multifamily) MBS issuances
- Understanding of legal, market and regulatory issues affecting the securities and MBS markets
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal professionals
