Engineer, Senior (Linux/AWS)

Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior Engineer of Infrastructure Engineering with expertise in Linux engineering and AWS cloud architecture. The successful candidate will lead and transform the current environment, automate existing procedures, and stay at the forefront of new technologies.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Typically, 5 - 7+ years of expert-level experience engineering new technical solutions
• Extensive experience architecting, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments
• Experience with Linux engineering, including lifecycle management, kernel patching, maintenance, and systems integration
• Automation development experience including application of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps principles
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and scripting languages
