Job Description
Teach science to middle and high school students, promoting a positive and secure learning environment, and adhering to the school's Christian philosophy and values. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Christian education, a solid grasp of subject matter, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord
- Possesses Christian character qualities to serve as a role model for young people
- Regular in attendance at a Christian, protestant, Bible-believing church
- Commitment to a Biblical lifestyle
- Solid commitment based on Mark 10:9 and positive marital relationship (if married)
- Strong commitment to Christian education
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in the subject related to application, and including education courses
- ACSI or state certification current according to FCS guidelines
- Ability to maintain an orderly learning atmosphere
- Enthusiastic, sensitive, loving rapport with students
- Strong grasp of subject matter and keen ability to communicate concepts to students with a variety of learning styles
- Well organized, diligent, creative
- Ability to carry out physical requirements related to the job and building environment
- Teachable, servant spirit
