As a Substitute Fitness Instructor, you'll provide exceptional services within Independent and Assisted Living residents. Thinking about future growth? Requirements
- Degree in a health-related field
- Internship or work experience with older adult clientele
- Six months to one year of experience in the field
- Ability to teach basic balance, chair exercise and muscle conditioning group fitness classes
- Ability to safely and accurately prescribe exercise for older adult clientele using ACSM guidelines Certifications
- Current Personal Trainer certification from an accredited organization
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
