We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our established DevOps team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of multiple servers in both unclassified and classified environments.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I required; IAT Level II certification desired.
- Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and maintaining systems within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment, including supporting cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and operational reliability.
- Experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting containerized applications.
- Strong experience administering Linux-based servers, including system patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and implementation of security hardening best practices.
- Experience implementing and maintaining system security measures, with a current understanding of security best practices for cloud and enterprise environments.
- Experience managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates, including certificate renewal, replacement, and troubleshooting certificate-related issues.
- Experience supporting security and compliance tools, including Nessus, UAM, CYBORGBUNNY, and LATTEART.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve operational issues across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
- Experience with ElasticSearch (desired)
- Experience with ArgoCD (desired)
