Senior Cloud Engineer

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support our client’s intelligence analysis products and capabilities. The role involves providing cloud expertise to enhance existing and emerging client capabilities, including design and development, modernization of existing applications and services, and operations and sustainment.

Requirements

• Assessment of existing environment, identification of potential approaches to increase CORE DevSecOps adoption, and integration of applications into Cloud environment as needed.
• Architect and optimize secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Lead containerized solution deployments across hybrid and cloud (AWS) environments.
• Implement and optimize geospatial data processing and API integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system performance.
• Lead system architecture discussions and recommend improvements.
• Develop input on deliverables, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Lead rapid prototyping to quickly iterate and improve solutions.
• Utilize modern technology stacks to meet client needs.
• Direct the migration, scaling, and modernization of applications in AWS environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Support proposal writing, technical white papers, and client briefings.
• Define technical standards, cloud guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
