Job Description
The company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with extensive experience in hypervisors, virtual machines, and hybrid cloud data center environments to design, implement, and maintain on-premises data center infrastructure.
Requirements
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise hypervisor environments, including Broadcom vSphere/ESXi, across multiple data centers
- Architect and maintain Storage Area Networks (SAN/NAS), including zoning, LUN and datastore management, replication, and performance tuning
- Build, configure, and support Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) environments across physical and virtual platforms
- Implement and manage Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) and high-availability solutions to ensure business continuity
- Respond on-site to data center incidents, including routine visits for preventive or standard maintenance
- Develop and maintain diagrams, runbooks, infrastructure documentation, and disaster recovery playbooks
- Collaborate with network, security, and application DevOps teams to design cohesive, integrated solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning
