Job Description
Freeform builds AI-native manufacturing systems that unify software, hardware, and physics to produce industrial-scale parts at the speed of human ideation. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead mechanical design efforts, drive innovation, and maximize hardware development speed.
Requirements
- Extensive technical breadth in mechanical engineering concepts
- Specific expertise in architecting, designing, and developing complex mechanical systems, advanced robotics systems, or state-of-the-art industrial automation systems
- 3D printing experience not required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design and development
- CAD experience, including GD&T and detailed drawing documentation
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with extensive hands-on hardware development experience
